Thank you for joining us at the CPhI – Generics Southeast Asia Summit 2013

CPhI – Generics Southeast Asia Summit was launched at The Landmark Bangkok, Thailand this September 2013, and welcomed attendees from across the region who participated to discuss macroeconomic factors, policies, issues and drivers affecting the generics industry in Southeast Asia.

The event was represented by Jesusa Joyce N. Cirunay, Head of International Desk of the Food and Drug Administration, Philippines;  Siti Aida Abdullah, Deputy Director - Centre for Organisational Development, National Pharmaceutical Control Bureau at the Ministry of Health, Malaysia; Marcus Pitt, President Director/CEO of SOHO Group; and Thaweesak Sithongsurapana, President of Eisai (Thailand) Marketing Co., Ltd.; and participants brought with them a unique blend of industry knowledge and enthusiasm that resulted in successful knowledge sharing and networking during the event.

The conference will focus on the macroeconomic factors, policies, issues and drivers affecting the generics industry in Southeast Asia, forecasted to grow to US$3.9 billion by 2016 with imminent patent expiry of key blockbuster drugs. A unique platform for top tier government, buyers, distributors, big pharmas, generics as well as regional and local manufacturers to share business knowledge and networking.
